Services on hardware you control. Small virtual machines you can start, snapshot, and tear down.
Building
What it is for
A community that holds its own network will eventually want to run its own services on its own machines, and to move or destroy those services without asking a cloud. That is the aim. The software is not finished. The code is public.
It is not the Embassy SF install. Embassy is Lightning Mesh. The place these machines are meant to run is Edgebox, the disk in the building — a Raspberry Pi 5 with an SSD first, mini-PCs later — including the virtual machines that recrypt a file for someone else. That arrangement is the design. It is not running.
